Terms of service
These Terms apply when you visit, browse or purchase from the MAMASUMA online store. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read these Terms and the related policies published on this website.
2.1 Products
MAMASUMA sells selected lifestyle products, apparel, accessories, home and interior items, gadgets and electronics. Product availability, descriptions, images, colours, materials, dimensions and specifications are provided in good faith and may vary slightly depending on screen settings, manufacturing batches or supplier updates.
Some products may be shipped from our logistics partners and some may be shipped directly from suppliers. Where product-specific safety, compatibility, sizing, care, battery, electrical or usage information is provided on a product page or inside the package, you should read it before using the product.
2.2 Orders and Acceptance
After you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not guarantee acceptance if there is a pricing error, stock issue, address issue, payment issue, product restriction or shipping limitation. We may cancel and refund an order where we cannot fulfil it lawfully or practically.
2.3 Prices, Taxes and Duties
Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, prices shown on the website are intended to include applicable sales taxes for the order destination where such taxes are charged by us.
For international orders, MAMASUMA aims to handle applicable customs duties, import VAT and related import charges where available through the selected shipping method. If a delivery destination, product type or shipping route cannot be served with duties and taxes prepaid, this should be shown or communicated before dispatch.
Customers should not be charged hidden import costs by MAMASUMA after the order has been accepted, unless the customer has provided incorrect information or requested a change that creates additional charges.
2.4 Payments
Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include card payments, PayPal Business, Stripe-supported methods or other payment options made available by the store. Payment providers may carry out fraud, identity, authorisation and security checks. We do not store full card details on our own systems.
When you choose a payment method such as PayPal, your payment may be processed directly by that payment provider under its own terms, privacy policy and security procedures. MAMASUMA receives payment confirmation and order-related payment information needed to process the order, but not full card details.
2.5 Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate order, delivery and contact information. If an address is incorrect, incomplete or unavailable for delivery, additional costs, failed delivery or return delays may occur. You are also responsible for checking whether a product is suitable for your intended use before purchasing it.
2.6 Product Restrictions and Safety
Some products may be subject to local import rules, age restrictions, safety rules, electrical standards, battery transport rules or other legal restrictions. We may refuse, cancel or refund orders where a product cannot legally or safely be supplied to the destination country.
For products sold into the European Union, additional product-safety obligations may apply depending on the product type and on the role performed by MAMASUMA, its suppliers, fulfilment partners and other economic operators. Product-specific information may therefore appear on the relevant product page, label, packaging or user instructions.
2.7 Intellectual Property
The MAMASUMA name, website design, copy, product presentation, images, graphics and other content are owned by or licensed to MAMASUMA or its partners. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, scrape, republish or exploit website content for commercial purposes without written permission.
2.8 Accounts
If customer accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
2.9 Reviews and User Content
MAMASUMA may allow customers to submit product reviews, ratings, photos, questions or other user-generated content through review tools such as Judge.me. By submitting a review or related content, you confirm that your contribution is truthful, based on your own experience, lawful and does not infringe the rights of others.
Reviews may be displayed publicly on the website together with your display name, rating, review text and any content you choose to provide. We may moderate, reject or remove reviews that are abusive, misleading, promotional, irrelevant, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate.
2.10 Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply by law. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MAMASUMA is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data or losses caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, failure to follow product instructions or use of products for purposes for which they were not designed.
2.11 Governing Law
These Terms are operated by Sitco, Ltd, incorporated in Macau. Where permitted by law, disputes relating to the website, orders or these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the seller. This does not remove mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer’s country or region of residence.
3. Regional Consumer Rights
MAMASUMA sells internationally. The same commercial policies are intended to apply to all customers where possible. However, consumer-protection laws are not identical everywhere.
Customers in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom and certain other jurisdictions may have mandatory rights that cannot be excluded or reduced by these policies. Where mandatory local consumer law gives you stronger rights than the general policy, MAMASUMA will respect those mandatory rights.
This does not require a separate policy page for every country, but it does require the store to apply local mandatory rights where they apply. Product pages, checkout notices and customer service decisions may also need to reflect product-specific or country-specific rules.
